Each Picassa candle is made with natural, safe and non-toxic ingredients.
We use only wood or natural cotton wicks.
It’s normal for wood wicks to crackle when lit. The natural properties of the soy wax offer a slow burn of up to 55-60 hours per candle. To optimize burn time and prevent tunneling, be sure to create a “burn memory” the first time you light your candle. Burn until the wax is melted all the way to the glass sides—about two hours—then extinguish. Never burn your candle for longer than four hours at a time. Proper storage will keep your candle burning bright. Soy wax candles are very sensitive to heat and light, so store your candle in a cool, dark area. With a little creativity, our beautiful jars can be repurposed and used around the house for cotton balls, makeup brushes, pens, and whatever else inspires you.
